From: The Dawn Of A New Era [CW]

[CF: Kill Bell]
November 5th, 2014

Being dressed to the nines in a suit, complete with a tie loosened at the neck, near choking him so he'd taken the initiative to make it easier to stand. Though he was always uncomfortable in situations where he couldn't accurately gauge what was going on.

Like when Manuel decided he was going to bring Legion, and the personae inside stirred, curious as to what he was going to do. But David remained in as much control as he could, barely containing the beast of the Wolfman. He knew what would happen if it was unleashed, but wasn't that part of Empath's plan? Still, the urge to follow was unbearable and he did so, trying to keep himself relaxed throughout the exchange in the car.

A promise stirred something, but David bit it back through teeth on his tongue. The metallic taste of copper in his mouth wasn't a good sign to keep the monster under control, the struggle of the personae against he barriers of his mind struggling to break through. David clung to the power he had, observing and not answering when asked a question. Or rather, given a statement. What was the promise of a treat? He'd woken several times, finding himself with the empathic mutant naked and close.

Some strange sense of familiarity began to blossom, in which David let his telepathy reach out, brushing over the minds of the slaves Empath had created with his power. Even while they began to guide the two men to their destination, the Wolfman was already making his appearance.

David paused, closing his eyes and pressing his hands over them. No. No no no no no no no no no NO!!! And then the fur emerged, skin sinking away as bones snapped and repositioned, bulk of muscle growing more dense as the lupine beast revealed himself, growling loud enough to rumble the skin of those nearby; to send chills. He knew where the Inner Circle was; knew how to get to them. Claws brandished and Legion swept them through one of the mind slaves, dropping them dead before they hit the ground. Then the other met with teeth, crunching through the bone of the neck as blood drizzled down the sides of his maw.

Legion knew what he had to do.

Without prompting and no warning given he moved, almost faster than the eye could see as he bolted off to where the Inner Circle would be. His favored meat wanted them dead, he would do it. Because at the end of everything he would get his way, and the Wolfman never backed down from a challenge.
