Seeing the team at work—the hacker and Toad making their way into the security office—Remy knew they were going to be fine. Even as a Prowler came down the wide hall towards them. As long as they stayed out of sight, they were out of mind. The Prowler continued its trek, passing the security office and turning into the blown open doors to the assembly plant. In there were three mutants, easily targetable by their X-gene signature.<br><br>The Prowler raised its tail, aiming for the biggest target, which had quite literally thrown the other Prowler into the wall. It crumpled, mechanically whirring before it finally returned to all of its legs, one large claw crushed shut by the impact and the tail missing.<br><br>It wanted to fight.<br><br>Gambit smirked, charging another card before sniping it at the Prowler facing Fred, watching as it impacted and stuck, ticking away until finally exploding one of the legs off. It almost careened down into the ground but the multiple legs were going to be a problem.<br><br>So he threw more cards, each leg splintering and scattering beneath it as it collapsed to the ground. It still tried to fire, tried to crawl forward but could not make progress. It was at the mercy of the mutant known as the Blob and boy was Remy excited to see what Fred Dukes was going to do to the monstrosity before them.<br><br>But another Prowler had joined the party, and Gambit immediately extended the bo staff, charging it up and charging himself towards the beast, only coming to a halt when he heard a voice.<br><br><!-- |start_mastermold| --><span class="mastermold">"Wait."</span><!-- |end_mastermold| -->
