CF: A Dream in a Hellish NIghtmare

There was another Frost at the institute, another potential connection. Yes, it would have been more prudent to make direct inquiries with Emma Frost but as much as some of them (Esme in particular) would bitterly deny it all of their hearts were filled with fear, terror of rejection, a concern that Sebastian Shaw had been correct and Emma Frost would not care one iota about them regardless of whether they were linked by blood or something else.

The girls knew essentially nothing about Christian Frost aside from the fact that he was Emma Frost’s brother. There were no absurd expectations. They did not even believe he would necessarily be aware of any connection between the sisters and Emma Frost since by all appearances Emma Frost was estranged from her family.

Celeste, unsurprisingly, the most timid and affectionate of sisters, was the one to push for a proper meeting, introductions. She was supported by both Phoebe and Mindee. Phoebe would like more friends (as they currently had done) and familial connections (which they lacked outside of each other). Mindee, typically the last to make a firm decision, lost in her own little world, had astonished them all with her quick opinion. (She would like to play the piano for one who might be of significance to them.)

Sophie and Esme were not resistant to the notion of an interaction. They just nursed fewer hopes than their sisters.

Christian Frost’s brainwaves were simple to pinpoint. They found him in the garden without issue, five footsteps in perfect synchronization, so silent as to mirror stillness. Their attire varied as much as their expressions, Celest’s smile being the brightest and most optimistic, heartfelt, Esme’s being the most cold and apathetic, Mindee’s being the most dreamlike and aloof, Sophie’s being the most magnanimous and charismatic, and Phoebe’s being the softest and sweetest.

“Greetings, Christian Frost. Typically we would ask you to pardon the intrusion but it does not appear as though it is your desire to remain isolated. We have come to welcome you in earnest and if you would permit it we would have a private conversation with you. There is much we would like to discuss. However, we are aware that you are new and would perhaps prefer sunshine and rest. Let us know what is acceptable,” they spoke in unison.

The air around Xavier's was fresh despite the actual building looking a bit.... not great. His mind had attempted to wrap itself around this being the place that Emma had chosen to come to. Apart of it made sense, considering that she had excelled in every aspect of academics during her time in school. It was impressive, even earning an admittance of honesty from Christian. He had always been proud of her, well aware of how their own father treated each of them. It seemed that she had done well enough for herself that not even Winston could have brought her down like that hateful, old man had done to him. Years spent locked away, treated horrendously in an attempt to correct what wasn't broken.

"Hm?" He initially responded to the sudden group of voices speaking together, united, towards him. Having caught his attention, Christian turned his head to spot the 5 girls whom were dressed differently yet their facial features looked similar. It was almost like looking into the past, well an alternate universe kind of path, looking at the girls that were quite reminiscent of his sister. It was a little weird, but it was enough to convince him to engage in conversation. With his interest piqued, he opted to turn his entire body so that he was looking at the group of girls. "Well, hello. Intrusion forgiven," Christian spoke, personally appreciative that the school had kind people within it's battered walls. "Thank you, and you all are....?" he added in, a bit curious to who these girls were.

Notes were being made of questions that he needed to ask his beloved sister, with the prime one asking if she had biological children running around or something. It wasn't every day that Christian had seen such defined facial physical features that matched Emma's, but he wasn't going to let that deter him from properly conversing. "Here seems fine. Looks like the place has been pretty empty... and third world country kind of wartorn, unless this isn't private enough," Christian nodded his head, used to personally having private conversations and the such out in the open. It was something he had developed while living back under the family mansion. In order to keep things secret, one had to learn how to properly keep things secret.
